- performing proactive preventative maintenance
- maintaining up to date records
- overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary
- general repairs of machines, equipment, or structures, as necessary and where appropriately trained
- regular fire alarm testing and emergency lighting systems
- conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment, maintain a clean site, and ensure the security and maintenance of all locks, doors, and windows
- maintain building in accordance with relevant, up to date legislation and HMO compliance
- liaise and work with subcontractors where required
Requirements
- proven maintenance experience and qualifications where necessary
- full driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential
- proactive and able to work on own initiative

- skilled in the use of hand and power tools
- ability to safely take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts desirable
- experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices would be advantageous
