Responsibility

  • preparation of quality ingredients to provide high standard menus, under the guidance of our Head & Sous Chef
  • provide for special dietary requirements where necessary, and consider the preferences of individual residents
  • responsible for the supervision of kitchen assistants
  • ensure food hygiene policies and procedures are maintained on a daily basis
  • maintain and improve professional knowledge and competence
  • ensure statutory Health and Safety standards in the kitchen and dining areas
  • understand, and ensure the implementation of the Company Health and Safety policy and Emergency and Fire procedures
  • promote safe working practice in the home
