- manage day-to-day financial transactions for all assigned businesses
- process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and general ledgers
- handle payroll processing for all businesses and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- prepare and submit VAT returns, as well as other required tax filings
- oversee cash flow management and bank reconciliations
- assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- liaise with accountants and auditors to ensure financial compliance
Requirements
- proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role, preferably in hospitality or multiple-business environments
- strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations
- proficient in accounting software Xero
- experience with payroll processing
- excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- ability to manage multiple businesses simultaneously
- strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
- high level of discretion and confidentiality
