- manage general press enquiries including drafting official spokesperson statements, spotting potential issues, preparing lines against enquiry and correcting media copy
- lead on individual proactive communications projects to secure positive coverage for the British Museum
- provide support and advice as part of the out of hours rota system- including monitoring and reactive media handling
