Requirements

  • we are looking for a confident and friendly Maintenance Person to join the team in our care home
  • in this role, you will be responsible for providing routine maintenance including basic plumbing and decorating
  • you will also be tasked with ensuring security is maintained and scheduled checks are conducted throughout the home
  • A good standard of record keeping is desirable
  • you will also be responsible for driving the homes mini bus and their residents to and from days out
  • the employer has claimed an exception under the Equality Act 2010
  • all appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of adults
  • must have the ability to carry out minor repairs and general maintenance including but not limited to basic plumbing and decorating and be able to work unsupervised
