Responsibility

  • the design, development and execution of all the beer that Beak produces
  • creating the production schedule and ensuring beer production can meet sales targets
  • ensuring all raw materials and packaging materials are on site as needed
  • ensuring accurate records are kept of brewing and packaging checks
  • raw materials selection and ensuring we get competitive rates on all raw materials and packaging
  • brewhouse and packaging plant maintenance
  • QA/QC of beer in tank and packaged beer, including external lab QC as needed through Murphy and Son/WHC
  • ensuring tanks are pressure tested in accordance with UK Pressure Equipment Directive
