Responsibility

  • we are looking for a skilled cook to join our team at The Eatery in Sidmouth
  • preparing and cooking a range of street food, including burgers, hot dogs, and bao buns
  • the successful candidate will have previous cooking experience and the ability to work under pressure in a very busy environment
  • ensuring that food is cooked to a high standard and presented attractively
  • managing stock levels and ordering ingredients as needed
  • ensuring that the kitchen area is kept clean and hygienic at all times
  • following all health and safety regulations
  • collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen

Requirements

  • previous cooking experience, with experience in cooking street food
  • ability to work under pressure in a very busy environment
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • knowledge of health and safety regulations in the kitchen
  • flexibility to work during evenings and weekends outside of the shift requirements listed above to aid with business requirements
