Responsibility
- you will be responsible for the sales and financial performance of the Abbey Shop
- shop, and be proactive in the overall strategic direction of the shop and its people
- tewkesbury Abbey is recruiting a Retail Shop Manager who will work in the Abbey Shop and oversee all aspects of the shop management
- through strong leadership you will lead and empower a team of volunteers to deliver high levels of excellent customer service while offering support, direction and inspiration when needed
- working collaboratively with the Vicar and non-executive directors of Tewkesbury Abbey Ltd, you will help us grow and develop the income from the Abbey
- recruit, induct and retain a team of volunteers to work in the Abbey Shop which is large enough to maximise the shop’s income and profitability and guarantee its smooth running
