Requirements
- applicants must hold a Certificate level Health and Safety qualification - NEBOSH, NCRQ, NVQ Level 3 is essential
- at least 1 year experience in a customer facing role is desirable
- valid driving license
- demonstrate confidence in using Microsoft software packages and be IT proficient
- work as part of a team and on own initiative when called for
- multi-task effectively, whilst prioritising workloads appropriately
- communicate accurately and professionally
- demonstrate a positive 'can-do' attitude
Responsibility
- producing Company H&S policies, Risk Assessments and advising on overall management systems to ensure compliance
- carrying out site inspections and producing reports with recommendations for improvements
- undertake Principal Designer duties, under CDM 2015
- produce Construction & Environment Management Plans, Construction Phase ---Plans and Traffic Management Plans
- encourage a positive health and safety culture in client organisations
- carry out accident investigations, identifying root causes and making recommendations to prevent recurrence
- lead in-house meetings and briefings
- mentor and train new trainee advisers
