Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- carry out effective repairs to all reported faulty/damaged equipment
- preventative planned maintenance checks to all HVAC plant and equipment
- small building works e.g. plumbing, decorating, joinery, minor electrical works
- moving heavy equipment or furniture
- conduct compliance tests and inspections
Requirements
- proven track record in all aspects of general buildings maintenance
- C&G/NVQ/apprenticeship qualification in a specific area of maintenance e.g. electrical, carpentry, plumbing or painting and decorating
- excellent awareness of current Health and Safety regulations, ability to work in a safe manner, evidence of relevant training
- previous experience of working in customer facing environments
- able to work as part of a team and on own initiative without a need for constant supervision
- flexible in relation to call out rota/weekend working
- maintenance: 2 years
