Responsibility
- building equipment to agreed specifications and quality requirements
- maintaining in-house equipment and/or facilities
- identifying and defining needs for improvement of in-house equipment and/or facilities
- contribute to improvement of mechanical design of systems to agreed specifications and quality requirements
- monitoring and maintaining records of stock levels of mechanical components and consumables
- to take responsibility for their own and others safety through safe working practices
- to participate positively in continuous improvement initiatives
- maintain good standards of housekeeping and plant hygiene
Requirements
- qualification in mechanical engineering/welding
- experience in assembly and maintenance of industrial equipment & pneumatic control systems an advantage
- ability to interpret engineering drawings
- good communication skills
- willingness to take responsibility
- willingness to learn and develop
- mechanical assembly: 1 year
- ability to display flexibility
