Working hours
- part-time
Responsibility
- assist with unpacking and putting away Goods In within the warehouse & picking orders for Goods Out
- take responsibility for keeping a clean, tidy and organised small warehouse
- complete daily and weekly vehicle Health and Safety checks prior to driving the vehicles
- take responsibility for picking, preparing and packaging goods for delivery, loading the van and including positioning items safely and carefully to avoid any damage in transit
- be responsible for cleaning company vehicles, to ensure they look well looked after and presentable
- adopt a safe driving style at all times when operating company vehicles
- when out on the road, you will need to be organised, sticking to agreed delivery times on a multi drop run
- as a member of a small team assist with carrying out other tasks as and when required in between deliveries
Requirements
- have an interest in welding products and be willing to expand your knowledge of the goods we sell
- ability to read a map and programme/ follow a sat nav system
- must be punctual and reliable
- demonstrate flexibility to work some overtime if required
- some manual handling will be required to load goods for delivery
- must have held a valid UK driving licence for a minimum of 2 years, with no more than 3 penalty points
- excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude, as this is a customer facing role where you are representing the business
