Responsibility

  • ensure all in-house hardware is correctly set up, maintained, and repaired. This includes desktops, laptops, servers, and other IT equipment

  • maintain a fixed asset register of all IT equipment within the organisation, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking of assets
  • oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of all in-house software applications. This includes ensuring software licenses are up to date and managing user access and permissions
  • manage all technical accounts, including user accounts, email accounts, and cloud-based services. This includes creating and maintaining accounts, managing access levels, and troubleshooting any account-related issues
  • test new hardware and software before full-scale installation, as well as troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues

Requirements

  • previous experience in a similar IT management role
  • strong knowledge and experience in installing and maintaining IT systems, particularly in a software company
  • familiarity with managing hardware and software in a corporate environment
  • excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • strong organizational and time management abilities
  • effective communication and interpersonal skills
