Requirements
qualified Teacher Status or equivalent, with a recognized teaching qualification
experience teaching within KS1-2 in a school setting, demonstrating a strong knowledge of the national curriculum and age-appropriate pedagogy
excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and inspire young learners effectively
proven ability to plan, deliver, and assess outstanding lessons, incorporating a range of teaching strategies and resources
strong classroom management skills, creating a safe and conducive environment for learning
genuine passion for teaching and commitment to nurturing the potential of every child
ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders
flexibility, adaptability, and resilience to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced educational environment

relevant experience working with students with ASD, ADHD, complex needs, and other learning difficulties
strong communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work effectively as part of a team
understanding or experience of using PECS, Makaton and other alternative communications
ability to adapt to changing situations and respond to the needs of individual students
