Responsibility

  • foster a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that promotes student engagement, participation, and independent thinking

  • maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior, providing timely feedback and reports to parents, senior staff, and relevant stakeholders
  • collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support the overall development and well-being of students
  • utilize various teaching methodologies, technologies, and resources to deliver interactive and dynamic lessons, including the integration of educational apps and tools
  • promote a culture of respect, inclusivity, and equality within the classroom, celebrating diversity and encouraging positive behavior
  • plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that meet the requirements of the KS1-2 curriculum, ensuring effective differentiation to acco mmodate various learning styles and abilities
  • stay updated with educational best practices, advancements, and changes in the curriculum, attending professional development sessions and training as required

Requirements

  • qualified Teacher Status or equivalent, with a recognized teaching qualification
  • experience teaching within KS1-2 in a school setting, demonstrating a strong knowledge of the national curriculum and age-appropriate pedagogy
  • excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and inspire young learners effectively
  • proven ability to plan, deliver, and assess outstanding lessons, incorporating a range of teaching strategies and resources
  • strong classroom management skills, creating a safe and conducive environment for learning
  • genuine passion for teaching and commitment to nurturing the potential of every child
  • ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders
  • flexibility, adaptability, and resilience to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced educational environment
