Responsibility
- oversee the daily management and administration of the care home
- develop and implement care plans, policies, and procedures to ensure the highest level of resident satisfaction and care
- foster a culture of person-centered care and maintain an environment that promotes dignity, respect, and well-being for all residents
- collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and residents to create tailored care plans
- ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including CQC standards and safeguarding protocols
- manage budgets and financial resources to ensure the care home operates efficiently
- recruit, train, and mentor a team of dedicated care professionals
- continuously evaluate and improve the care home's services, facilities, and processes
Requirements
- NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care Management or equivalent
- minimum of 3 years' experience in a managerial role within a care home setting
- comprehensive knowledge of CQC regulations and care standards
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- proven track record of managing, coaching, and developing a team
- strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- A genuine passion for providing exceptional care to seniors
