Responsibility

  • oversee the daily management and administration of the care home
  • develop and implement care plans, policies, and procedures to ensure the highest level of resident satisfaction and care
  • foster a culture of person-centered care and maintain an environment that promotes dignity, respect, and well-being for all residents
  • collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and residents to create tailored care plans
  • ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including CQC standards and safeguarding protocols
  • manage budgets and financial resources to ensure the care home operates efficiently
  • recruit, train, and mentor a team of dedicated care professionals
  • continuously evaluate and improve the care home's services, facilities, and processes

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care Management or equivalent
  • minimum of 3 years' experience in a managerial role within a care home setting
  • comprehensive knowledge of CQC regulations and care standards
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • proven track record of managing, coaching, and developing a team
  • strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • A genuine passion for providing exceptional care to seniors
