Responsibility
- preparing tax returns for a diverse portfolio including non-domiciled individuals, non-residents, expatriates and temporary assignees
- reviewing documents and information provided by clients and requesting missing information
- liaising directly with clients regarding personal tax matters and enquiries
- attending and also leading meetings with clients and prospects and generating follow up emails
- drafting tax return emails and advising clients of their tax liabilities
- dealing with HMRC as required by email, letter and telephone
- identify and develop tax planning and advisory opportunities for clients
- working closely with the manager and ensuring the delivery of a high-quality personal tax service to our clients
Requirements
- ideally ATT qualified or part-qualified. QBE candidates will also be considered
- ideally at least 18 months of personal tax experience
- the successful candidate will ideally have some relevant experience with non-domiciled and non-resident clients
- good working knowledge of a range of personal tax/private client issues
- strong interpersonal skills, effective communication and ability to work to tight deadlines
