Responsibility
- assist in the preparation and production of various baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked products
- learn and follow recipes and production processes under the guidance of experienced bakers
- ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the baking area, including equipment and utensils, in accordance with food safety standards
- operate baking equipment, such as mixers, ovens, and dough sheeters, safely and efficiently
- collaborate with other team members, including pastry chefs to ensure smooth operations a pleasant working environment and timely delivery of products
- maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper sanitation and food safety practices
- assist in inventory management, including ingredient preparation and stock rotation
- follow company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations
Requirements
- proven experience as a Baker, with a good all-round knowledge of baked goods
- good understanding of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- ability to read and follow recipes, adjust ingredient measurements, and manage baking time and temperature
- good time management and organizational skills to meet production deadlines
- passion for baking and a strong interest in pursuing a career in the culinary industry
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- knowledge of food safety regulations
- excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions
