Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • manage, co-ordinate and run the debtor ledgers. Timely and effective collection of all debts and customer receipts
  • build relationships and maintain contact with customers to ensure invoices are ready for payment as they fall due
  • resolving queries around outstanding invoices
  • providing event and status reports for internal debtor reviews
  • spending significant amounts of time on the phone to customers, on average 40 calls a day
  • work closely with the Accounts Assistant – Sales Ledger to support the timely and accurate delivery of invoices
  • perform monthly routines, run month end debtor reports, provide commentary & reconcile ledgers
  • work with the Sales team to effectively manage the debtors and cash collection

Requirements

  • previous experience of Credit Control and managing multiple ledgers
  • ability to use initiative and work well under pressure
  • ability to work quickly and efficiently
  • knowledge and experience of major CRM & accounts packages
  • confident and clear on the telephone and must meet call target
  • ability to manage complex accounts and have excellent attention to detail
  • experience dealing with foreign currencies
  • work to strict deadlines with a ‘right first time’ mentality
