- full Driving Licence
- NVQ Mechanical Engineering
- city & Guilds Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Responsibility
- working in a safety culture and ensuring safety standards are maintained
- using PPM’s to ensure Plants and Equipment are Maintained properly
- reacting to breakdowns to ensure that Plant Downtime is kept to a minimum
- ordering spare parts to ensure that sites have the required type and amount of spares
- planning shutdowns to ensure that repairs are undertaken around production
- use of internal systems in order to keep accurate maintenance records
Requirements
- mechanical knowledge/experience
- experience of working in production environment
- experience changing bearings
- mechanical fault finding
- working with Conveyors
- working with mechanical feeders
- some basic understanding of electrics would be beneficial
- use of Hand and Power Tools
