- the Assistant Branch Operations Manager is responsible for service delivery to our customers
- this role requires excellent leadership skills, a strong technical background in tanker/HGV maintenance and a customer-centric approach to service delivery
- the key responsibilities are to service customers & act as a single point of contact for all requests
- we are seeking a highly organised and experienced Workshop Operations Manager to oversee and optimise the operational efficiency of our WTS specialist tanker workshops
- the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily workshop operations, communicating with customers, coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to safety standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives
- the ABOM needs to deliver excellent customer service & make the right cost decision to ensure the maintenance budget is adhered to
- leadership: attend team meetings & proactively participate
Requirements
- self motivated with demonstrable, relevant working experience in an administrative role with the ability to work accurately under pressure
- understands customer requirements & TIP’s capability to meet & exceed these requirements
- respond in a promptly & efficiently manner to customer queries & issues
- performs standard customer related tasks in a consistent & efficient fashion
- operations management: 5 years
- warehouse Management: 1 year
- negotiation Skills: Able to negotiate, achieving the best results with vendors
- able to challenge costs & identify opportunities to recharge, reduce costs & manage fair, wear & tear
