- we are looking for chefs that are passionate about what they do and are looking for a new challenge
- we value a ‘lead by example’ approach, so a great work ethic is essential
- you will be required to maintain meticulous food hygiene standards, and will need a cheerful, hands-on attitude that won’t stop you from getting involved in all aspects of the role
- the successful candidates will work directly under our head chef and sous chef. We can offer excellent progression opportunities within the business and external training if desired
- teamwork is a big part of Tango’s success, so we’re looking for people with excellent communication skills both within the kitchen and liaising with the front of house staff/managers
Requirements
- ability to work well under pressure
- willingness to integrate into an established team, taking the lead when necessary
- be consistent with excellent standards of personal presentation
- demonstrate a working knowledge of Health & Safety
- passionate about fresh, local ingredients
- hold a valid Food Hygiene certificates
- minimum of 2 years’ experience as a chef, especially in a high-volume kitchen
