Responsibility
- registered Support Manager - Tamu Homes
- we are a supported living service and accommodation provider, specialiaing in offering care and support to diverse service users
- assist with the setup and registration procedures, complying with relevant legislation and standards
- conduct assessments and safeguard service users, enabling them to live with dignity and purpose through person - centered care
- support service users and families/advocates in meeting physical, domestic, mental health, and social needs
- update care plans, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- delegate for the Company Director in establishing the business, tendering, marketing, and managing administrative procedures
- lead and manage care staff, ensuring high-quality service provision and necessary qualifications and training
Requirements
- management qualifications at minimum Level 4
- willingness to become a registered manager with Ofsted
- experience in tendering, spot purchases, and dynamic purchasing with local authorities for care provision
- knowledge of relevant government and care regulations
- minimum Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care
- proven track record of achieving consistently positive outcomes for vulnerable individuals from diverse backgrounds
- experience providing culturally sensitive care and addressing challenges related to different cultural backgrounds
- flexibility with working hours, including covering on-call service and providing hands-on care if needed
