Working hours

Responsibility

  • build important relationships with internal and external clients
  • dealing with on/off hiring, rehiring and sourcing equipment from third party suppliers
  • manage a fast paced and busy hire desk
  • liaise with colleagues and procurement teams to ensure that equipment is successfully delivered at designated dates/times
  • problem solving and resolution of claims that arise in a professional manner, ensuring all paperwork is completed and up to date
  • also from time to time to deliver hire equipment out to customers when needed

Requirements

  • it doesn't matter what sector you come from, we just need transferable skills - great customer service and sales experience
  • A full clean UK driving licence is required
  • excellent customer service skills with a focus on increasing sales
  • effective communicator with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • proficient IT skills
  • strong team player with the ability to work to own initiative
  • previous experience within the Plant and Hire Industry or a good understanding of electrical, petrol and diesel equipment would be advantageous, but not essential
