Education

  • liaison with various parties including clients, contractors, and members of the public. Participate in project consultation
  • undertake on-site inspections, provide feedback and solutions where required
  • support the Highway Design Team in improving services and delivering Equans corporate and local objectives
  • the development and design of highway engineering projects, including construction supervision for highway engineering projects as well as contributing to delivering briefs / works for other project teams
  • promote and instil Equans values of Drive, Commitment, Daring, and Cohesion
  • assist the Highway Design Team on designs for highway projects, including preparation of specifications, reports, and contract data on a variety of projects
  • develop project management and co-ordination skills to achieve project deliverables within the agreed time, quality, and financial objectives, including the monitoring of works through the construction phase
  • develop a knowledge of highway design standards, CDM requirements, tender processes and health and safety regulations, Bill of Quantities, and contractual documentation
