Responsibility
- create, develop and install programmes for the use of CNC machinery within the factory including CAD/CNC
- create and assist with PLC programming of supporting machines in the overall production line
- support NPI process to ensure robust processes can be implemented
- support existing manufacturing activities to ensure compliance with drawing and specification requirements
- support and maintain HSE standards and process adherence, developing procedures were required to support new technology implementation
- manage and supervise team of operators to keep with production volumes and demand
- work within the entire value chain for specific commodities; identify opportunities for improvement and deliver improved manufacturing capability
- to attend the daily Production Meetings and provide reports for the production performance
Requirements
- CNC programming experience ideally using Biesse machines
- minimum of 5 years` experience working in a similar production assistant/ planning role
- A clear knowledge of ERP / MRP systems and planning tools – ideally M3
- ability to work cross-functionally across manufacturing, operations, design and NPI
- great interpersonal skills
- excellent communication and organisational skills
- computer knowledge and skills
- understanding and technical ability to read and produce CAD models
