Responsibility
- dealing with enquiries and general customer liaison
- preparation of quotation’s in line with business requirements, ensuring correct selection and estimating
- working alongside the external sales team to ensure customers’ requirements are understood and expectations are met

- preparation of quotations including clarification of detail from customers and external sales team, and investigation of competitor products
- to provide effective handover and support to the Service teams
- provide information to Managers on any warranty issues or product failures
- being first point of contact for the customer for all contact relating to their enquiry
- obtain best prices from approved supplier for preparation of quotations
- ensuring all contract review documents and discount authorisations are completed
- requisition of supplier quotes and cross site products
- keeping records of job costings
- updating external sales of inhouse activity
- processing of customers purchase orders
- work towards and meet monthly and quarterly sales targets set
- ensuring any customer purchase orders received have comprehensive clear and concise supporting detail before handing over to the Contract Coordination Team to be processed
- offer a good level of communication and guidance on customer requirements in order to build and maintain relationships
- attend sales meetings periodically with the sales team, providing information on new business orders and opportunities
- assist where required with fielding telephone enquiries, responding where possible directly or ensuring enquires are dealt with by the most appropriate team member
- update the Company database to maintain current and correct information of contacts, addresses and activities
- present key features and benefits of the company, its products & services to obtain opportunities
- any other duties as required
- ensuring processes are in line with QA work instructions and procedures utilising controlled forms and templates
Requirements
- educated to GCSE/ A ‘Level standard or equivalent
- good standard of business related administration qualification/experience
- computer literate in MS Office, ERP and database operating systems
