Responsibility
- performing monthly customer statement runs
- performing monthly payment request runs
- regular contact with customers by telephone and email to arrange prompt collection of due accounts
- resolving customer queries in a professional, courteous, and timely manner, via email and telephone
- working with internal teams to resolve customer order disputes
- keeping the customer account data up-to-date and accurate, including maintaining notes on customer communications
- reconciliation of customer account balances and other sales ledger tasks for the accounting month-end process
- collating and reporting debtor management data
Requirements
- experience of using an ERP system/Accounting software such as Sage 200/50
- excellent attention to detail
- polite and confident telephone manner
- very good verbal and written communication skills
- self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
- strong work ethic
- 1-2+ years’ experience in a Finance role. Credit control experience desirable
- finance or Credit Control: 1 year
