Working hours

Responsibility

  • menu planning to provide catering to members and visitors to the centre
  • catering for Function Room hire for up to 150 people
  • prepping various ingredients such as meats and vegetables
  • collaborate with the Centre’s Manager on menu planning
  • serving food and drinks to Bowling Club members and visitors
  • maintaining a pantry stock record
  • rotating stock items as per established procedures
  • restocking the pantry and fridge or freezer as necessary

Requirements

  • in-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques
  • working knowledge of food safety and hygiene protocols
  • A good team spirit
  • excellent attention to detail
  • two years or more experience as a Cook
  • working knowledge of mathematical principles such as ratios and proportions
  • good dexterity
  • excellent communication skills
