Responsibility

  • swaffham Veterinary Centre is seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our team in Swaffham
  • administrative duties include but are not limited to scheduling appointments, answering phones, and greeting clients
  • this position will work closely with the Manager and other staff members to ensure that clients receive the best possible care
  • the ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, and be comfortable handling a variety of administrative duties

Requirements

  • veterinary medical experience essential
  • ability to welcome clients and their pets in a friendly and comforting manner
  • ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff
  • ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and Saturday mornings
  • be able to resolve queries or complaints efficiently
  • ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout reception and dispensary
