Working hours

Responsibility

  • the ability to communicate confidently and effectively by phone, email & online with occasional face to face contact is a must
  • we also pay an annual discretionary bonus dependent on a combination of the individual and the company’s performance
  • we are looking for a Claims Handler to deal with new and existing claims, working in partnership with insurers, their loss adjusters and lawyers and our placing brokers, to achieve a positive outcome for all stakeholders within the claims handling process
  • development within the role will enable the successful applicant to in time assist the Claims Team Manager, with enhancing our claims proposition and relationships
  • the ideal candidate will be an energetic and enthusiastic individual, having previous claims handling experience with either an MGA, insurer or broker
  • A relevant insurance qualification is desirable though we do also assist and encourage CII qualifications, providing full training and a detailed induction
  • working hours are 9 am to 5.00 pm weekdays & in addition to the salary we offer local gym membership, death in service, 10% non-contributory pension, an Equipsme Health Insurance plan and 25 days holiday, with additional long service holiday
