Responsibility
- JOB TITLE Practice Accountant
- LOCATION/DEPARTMENT TaxAssist Accountants Sutton
- REPORTS TO Partner
- SALARY £39,000-£42,500 per year pro rata
- HOLIDAY 20 days’ plus 8 bank holidays pro rata
- to provide a complete accounting and business support service to clients, including the provision of business accounts, corporate and personal tax returns, bookkeeping and VAT returns
- ▪ Organising and updating relevant data using various applications
Requirements
- ▪ Qualified ACCA/ACA or equivalent, or qualified by experience
- ▪ minimum 3 years’ experience in practice, with at least 1 year at accounts production level
- ▪ Experience of managing client portfolio was be advantage
- ▪ Up-to-date tax and accounting knowledge
- ▪ Excellent numeracy skills
- ▪ Knowledge of accounting software – Taxcalc, Brightpay, QuickBooks, Xero, Freeagent
- ▪ A high degree of IT literacy and the ability to embrace new technology
- ▪ Excellent written and verbal communication with a customer service focus
