Responsibility
administration duties including booking appointments, filing, shredding and scanning documents when required
become proficient in understanding the types of conditions that the clinical team can see
use electronic systems to access and update patient information and clinical data
A full range of secretarial duties including typing clinic letters, and test results using digital and/or audio dictation, booking appointments and writing discharge correspondence
update patient records with details of email or telephone correspondence
carry out all typing, secondary care and two week rule referral requests from Consultants and GP with Special Interest doctors
provide information and advice to patients about appointments via telephone, letter or email
attend staff meetings as requested by the management team
Requirements
previous experience as medical secretary
knowledge of medical terminology
experience in managing electronic patient records
knowledge with current software systems such as SystmOne or Choose and Book
excellent organisational and administration skills
good IT skills
excellent communication skills, both written and spoken including listening skills
flexible and positive attitude towards role
management accountant
Requirements
we're looking for someone with a ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification with proven experience in a similar management accounting role
knowledge of UK accounting standards and financial regulations is essential, as is a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
you'll need strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and excellent communication skills to effectively explain financial information to non financial stakeholders

Responsibility
systems and Process Improvement - Assist in improving financial systems, processes, and controls to enhance accuracy and efficiency; support the implementation of new financial software or system upgrades where required
internal Controls and Compliance - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies; assist with the preparation for audits and liaise with external auditors; ensure internal controls are in place to prevent errors and fraud
