- inspect furniture for defects and identify areas requiring repair or replacement
- utilize a variety of tools and equipment to carry out repair and maintenance tasks effectively and safely
Requirements
- proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably in furniture repair and maintenance
- proficiency in using a wide range of carpentry tools and equipment
- strong knowledge of different types of wood, upholstery materials, and furniture construction techniques
- ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
- effective time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy furniture pieces
- outstanding problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing repair issues
