Of all the auction houses on the iBidder platform, Supreme Auctions are probably the worst.
Their delivery charges are ridiculously excessive, eg a 25kg consignment costing £48 (I emailed to check this was correct, and they confirmed it was). The same consignment with DPD is just £15 door to door. Value of the items? £50.
Then whack on a staggering 26% service charge (£13 premium) for SA and the same for VAT, taken all together the headline cost more than doubles to £126. Essentially the cost of the items from a retail store.
Booking your own courier? NOT ALLOWED! (*unless NI or Highlands)
Thinking of collecting in-person instead? you'll be offered a 3 hour window in the middle of the working day. No early morning, evening or weekend collection.
SA like to point to 'from' delivery prices, but never explicitly state what delivery of a lot or lots cost until you've paid for the items. Combined with inflexible collection and courier options, it leads me to believe excessive delivery charges are SA's actual business model and a real cash cow (given how much money they're sat on according to 2024 accounts)
I have had some great deals from SA in the past (garden lighting, beauty products, posh paint ETC) but unfortunately I won't be biting anymore after what I feel like was a complete and utter swindle.
Fortunately there are plenty of reputable auction houses on the iBidder platform, some even ship for free and almost all offer weekend collection. I also concur with a lot of reviewers that some of the reviews here do seem quite fishy. Also SA come across quite combative in their responses, even accusing customers of defamation (LOL!)
Can't see this obvious gravy train carrying on for much longer though... people are catching on and word is spreading...
I haven't received my full order. I'm missing 4 x Westland Aftercut 2.8kg (half of the lot), and all 20 x 75ml tubes of Oral B toothpaste. DPD label advises it's box 1 of 3, but only 1 box delivered? Tracking shows as delivered. If not advised and received within 14 days, court action will be taken to recover monies paid.
I would seriously never ever recommend or use this company. This is the response I got when I bought some shower equipment off them it might as well have come out of a Skip.
They couldn’t even address it with my name
Hi (CUSTOMER NAME),
Thank you for your response.
.
As we have previously stated in our correspondence, the case has been closed.
Furthermore, I will explain in more detail as to why we have closed the case given the evidence you have provided us with. An unchecked/untested sale means that the items have not been checked for the condition/complete/specifics on arrival at our depot from the supplier, due to the volume of stock we handle we do not have the time or facilities to check all goods. As per our important information section, we offer and strongly advise to book a viewing or appraisal which are available on all of our sales. You should only assume a item/lot is new if this is clearly stated in the description.
All goods are sold as seen and sold on a trade to trade basis. Goods that are sold as seen are sold in their existing condition and no representation is given in respect of quality.
The lot is not listed as new, therefore we cannot guarantee the condition of this item which is why we do highly recommend viewing.
The images used are for illustration purposes only which is included in our terms and conditions.
I hope this helps for future purchases. This case will now remain closed, and any further correspondence will not be responded to.
Kind Regards,
The Supreme Team.

I am utterly appalled by my experience with Supreme Auctions. If you’re considering using this auction house, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. The lots they sell are nothing short of disappointing, with items that appear to have been hastily sourced from some forgotten corner of a junkyard. The quality is shockingly poor, and it’s clear that little, if any, effort is made to properly assess or describe the items they’re listing. It’s as though they simply grab whatever they can find, dust it off, and expect buyers to think they’re getting a deal.
I’ve purchased multiple lots from them, and each time I’ve been left feeling deceived. The items are subpar at best, barely worth a fraction of what they’re selling for. Their descriptions are misleading, and the condition of the lots is far worse than anything that could be reasonably expected from an auction house claiming to offer quality goods.
This is not just a matter of disappointment—it’s downright misleading and deceptive business practice. I will be taking this issue to Trading Standards because it’s clear that Supreme Auctions is taking advantage of unsuspecting customers. They cannot be allowed to continue scamming people with poor-quality goods while misrepresenting them as valuable finds.
To anyone who’s thinking of engaging with Supreme Auctions: beware. I intend to ensure that this company faces the scrutiny it deserves, and I would encourage others who have had similar experiences to take action as well. No one should have to deal with this level of dishonesty.
Don't be bothered with these scammers. They post stock images of the items without any description of their status, making you believe they're new. You then receive a bunch of heavily used or broken stuff and they charge you an unreasonable delivery price. I received a vacuum cleaner that stinks of dead fish, a coffee machine with mould in the water tank and an old used pod still stuck inside and an Xbox controller with a broken connector and that doesn't even power on, a bunch of junk that I wouldn't have paid 10£ from a charity shop. I can't believe I fell for this, stay away!

Avoid at all costs !! This place is just a joke ! Run by con artists . Spent £1200 on pallets that they didn't have to hand to sell to begin with . Same photo used for all the pallets . 3 weeks later when we finally collected them , after a number of cancelled bookings , we finally went to collect from a location that's not even advertised and the pallets contained a mix match of furniture parts that was only fit for landfill , these pallets were advertised as high value with a high percentage as being new ,undelivered parcels... The auctioneers response was items was bought as seen , but we wasn't able to view the pallets as they never had them to begin with hence the wait (I have email response to prove this ) We are currently going through the small claims court and suggest anyone else in a similar position to do the same . Also check out their company house registration, its very interesting. I've got backing from trading standards and as I'm also a member of the local Chambers of commerce they are also assisting me .
Scam artists who lead you into believing products are new yet they are broken well used returns
Cowboys
Which is the most popular online auction website?
Brought for the first time from Supreme Auctions a lot of 50 undelivered/unchecked parcels, well what a waste of money so never again will I buy from them.
I wished I’d read reviews of these cowboys before I purchased from them then I certainly may not have gone through with my purchase.
Two glass items in the lot were smash to bits & they would have been like that when they packed the parcel for delivery to me without any doubt.
Other stuff was just cheap & nasty & not worth anything to be honest, some of the packaging on items were from Shein…… you know that really amazing good quality place.
With delivery this lot cost me over £80 & I would say that the whole lot is only worth about £8.
To be honest the consumer authority need to investigate this hilarious place.
If I could score minus on this place I would but had to give them a 1 star which is a massive insult to other companies that aren’t as rubbish as them.
They list and auction goods that should be sent to the tip for recycling.
Everything seems to be junk!!
the term un-opened returns means they have opened the item to see if its good then sell it elsewhere and put some junk in there instead then reseal the packet.
Spent > £500 on Tech Goods, every sigle item was eith F**ked or had been F**ked about with. Buyer beware.
I’ve received some supermarket pallets but upon arrival (after 3 weeks of being messed around) everything’s from b&m or home bargains which are not supermarkets. Anyone had any experience of getting their money back for it being misrepresented?
Appalling service - dishonest - avoid at all costs
Did you face any specific issues with their service? It can help others to know more about your experience.
This place is an absolute joke had to wait a week before they would allow collection and then received an email telling me that they were going to charge me for storage if I didn’t collect my goods. Spent over two hours and 150 miles to get there and then they say sorry we don’t have the goods we were going to charge you storage on!!! Sorry about that we will tell you when we have them and you can come and collect them then. Never again will I use this company as their customer service is terrible and surprisingly nobody in the office will come down to speak to you. Avoid at all costs
That sounds like a really frustrating experience. Did they offer any compensation for their mistakes or any explanation regarding the missing goods? Did you try escalating this to their management?
Shocking customer service and damaged and missing items scam scam scam the manager just screams down the phone when she feels like it!
It's great to hear about your positive experience with Maid in Bournville. Can you provide more details about the services they offer or any specific experiences you've had with the team members?
How bad can a business be?
How bad can a business be? Firstly despatch is 2 weeks late - No explanation given. When goods finally arrive item was broken/incomplete. Auction house/customer service department (Joke in itself) neither use or ornament - Just kept saying "all within terms and conditions" never mentioned the fact that item was not as descibed. Now in the process of claiming through a solicitor. AVOID THIS AUCTION HOUSE at all times. They are appalling.
That sounds like a really frustrating and disappointing experience with the company. How has the process with the solicitor been going? Is there anything you wish you had known or done differently before engaging with this auction house?
Are SUPREME AUCTIONS currently recruiting? Do you know what working conditions this company offers?
Wholesale & Retail Trade is a service that is highly appreciated by customers. Is that true?
What do you think, is SUPREME AUCTIONS a better organization than FOX GROUP INTERNATIONAL? Do you know anything about this?
