Responsibility
to liaise with families, external agencies and employees relating to the service being delivered
to work in collaboration with all professions considering the students specific needs
support for students in accessing learning activities across the curriculum including both through formal and informal Learning
support and encourage students to engage in formal and informal Learning activities
be aware of, and support protected characteristics, and ensure all students have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop
use Role modelling as an interactive teaching strategy
where educational provision has been identified as unsuitable / not meeting need; work with the student and others to identify alternative education options / provision and support the transition into the new provision
adopt a model of trauma informed and trauma sensitive strategies / approaches
Requirements
working within our Values-based Education ethos
relevant teaching qualifications
working in conjunction with our Values-based curriculum
clean driving licence and access to own vehicle
undertaking Values-based discussions and recordings with young people and those who know them well
no experience is required
to contribute to the development of the service
in conjunction with the Service Lead the post holder will be devising work plans and lessons up to several weeks ahead
