Requirements
- accountancy qualification with at least 5 years post-qualification experience at senior management level
- strong competence in P&L, balance sheet and cash flow management
- previous management of a credit control function desirable
- strong communication skills; within own department and with non-finance staff
- experience in financial systems implementation & development
- experience managing a tight-knit finance team
- the successful candidate will have a broad range of financial and commercial skills encompassing all financial disciplines – with a particular emphasis on financial accounting and control
- relevant technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
Responsibility
- maintain efficient client account management and minimise bad debt
- constantly review all balance sheet controls
- various other external advisors. E.g. legal, audit, credit reference
- prepare payroll data ready for submission to third party processor
- regular reporting to leadership and internal teams of performance to budget
