- create exhibition stand layouts and space planning
- utilise modelling and render software to bring exhibits to life
- develop understanding of design briefs in terms of clients’ needs, their brand values and personality
- generate creative design ideas
- provide designs which are creatively appropriate to the brief set
- participate in client, internal and pitch meetings to effectively present design work
- produce detailed plans and construction drawings
- ensure that creative responses are of a continually high quality and production is upheld, maintaining consistently high standards
Requirements
- good knowledge of the global exhibition, events and tradeshow industry, or an associated sector
- relevant design qualification
- detailed working knowledge of 3D design packages
- proficient in using Vectorworks
- confident communicator with good presentation skills
- passion for design
- confident and happy to thrive in a busy working environment
- good freehand skills an advantage but not essential
