Responsibility
- supervise daily café operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to health, safety & food regulations
- stock Management, ordering of supplies, collecting cash & carry stock
- lead, motivate, and train staff in excellent customer service practices and food preparation techniques
- manage kitchen activities including food preparation, and inventory control to maintain quality standards
- uphold the integrity of our brand by adhering to company policies & procedures
- handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction at all times
- oversee financial aspects of the café including budgeting, ordering supplies, managing expenses ans cash handling/banking
- collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours
Requirements
- proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or restaurant industry
- strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking
- knowledge of bartending practices is advantageous but not essential
- exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on team development and supervision
- excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff and customers alike
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends as required by café operations
