Responsibility

  • constructing walls, partitions, fireplaces, chimneys, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and stone
  • experienceof Building pillars using bricks, concrete blocks and stones
  • cutting or breaking bricks to fit around windows, doors, and corners
  • reading and interpreting blueprints or plans to determine the layout of structures
  • mixing mortar or grout and spreading it onto bricks using a trowel
  • repairing existing brickwork or masonry structures and brickspointing
  • using various tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, levels, and jointers

Requirements

  • previous experience in bricklaying or masonry
  • proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
  • bricklaying: 3 years
