- sturts Community Trust is currently looking for new bank team members to complement our day support workers by covering 7.5 hours of support between the hours of 07:00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. or 2.30 p.m. to 10 p.m
- to encourage and support companions in expressing their needs, views and concerns. To enable companions to make choices and decisions and to participate as fully as possible in planning and decision making
- to be responsible to the individual needs of companions within the framework of their Person Centred Support Plans and as indicated in their Risk assessments, and to respond flexibly to changing needs
Requirements
- A warm, person-centred approach and ability to positively engage with people with learning difficulties
- good verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
- good written communication skills, with the ability to positively contribute to a record keeping system

- experience of providing support to people with learning difficulties or other support needs
- NVQ 2/3 or other social care qualification preferred
- willingness to undertake mandatory training in line with our CQC compliance
- support Worker: 1 year
- open and enquiring outlook with a willingness to uphold the Camphill ethos is essential
