Responsibility

  • we are a firm of Accountants based in Harrogate looking to recruit an experienced bookkeeper to join our team
  • this is a superb opportunity for a loyal individual to join an expanding firm in a friendly and hard working office
  • the candidate will ideally have relevant experience in industry, or current experience of working within practice
  • primarily office based
  • part time, working 14-21 hours per week, Monday to Friday, to be agreed
  • we are looking for someone who has a professional manner and would be comfortable representing the firm when dealing with clients either by telephone, email or in person
  • they will have a mature approach and be happy working independently to manage their own portfolio of clients and as part of the wider team
  • VAT Return preparation, reconciliation and submission

Requirements

  • experience of working in an accountancy role within a practice environment would be an advantage
  • minimum bookkeeping experience of 2 years
  • excellent organisational, time management and communication skills
  • bookkeeping: 1 year
