Responsibility
- stress Man Limited are currently seeking a highly experienced, resourceful, and delivery-focused Aerospace Stress Engineer to support our growing customer base
- engineer must be proficient in ANSYS Mechanical APDL, Abaqus, Hypermesh, UG NX, NX-Nastran, and Python scripting
- prior experience with life analysis is preferred
- ownership of stress analysis of assigned components
- collaborate with support functions as needed
- engineer must have gas turbine experience, and be familiar with 2D and 3D stress analysis, in particular, gas turbine rotating parts using the latest in modeling techniques, such as friction at interfaces, and elastic/plastic
- ensure assigned components meet all technical and functional requirements
- generate and deliver technical/program presentations to internal and external customers as required

- aero engine Stress: 6 years
- derby: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
