  • A good knowledge of ornamental plants and trees as well as vegetable and fruit growing is required
  • PA1 / PA6 spraying certificates are essential, and chainsaw qualifications desirable
  • the candidate must have a full driving licence as the gardens are in a rural location
  • A vacancy has arisen for a head gardener to work in the formal and informal gardens of a Grade 1 Listed property situated in North Hampshire. The garden is open to the public at certain times of the year
  • the job involves being part of the planning and execution of a new area of the grounds, working closely with the employer. This design will need to be sensitive to the environment
  • this is a full time permanent position. Accommodation can be provided. The post requires a person who can supervise a team and use their initiative
