Requirements
- minimum 2 years experience as a Registered Manager managing a care home with a minimum CQC rating of Good
- proven track record of bringing the occupancy of a care home to capacity
- strong experience in building effective relationships with current and potential resident referral sources such as Local Authorities, GP’s and Hospitals
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management desirable
- good working knowledge of CQC standards
- an in depth understanding of the legal requirements such as Health and Social Care Act/ CQC regulations
- confidence to communicate and maintain excellent working relationships with all levels of colleagues as well as external professionals, families and visitors
- the ability to maintain a full staffing team
Responsibility
- to ensure that all new referrals are responded to in a timely manner in line
- to identify recruitment needs and develop plans to ensure the service is appropriately resourced with capacity for growth
