- to ensure colour-coded equipment and cloths are used in the correct areas
- to assist our clients with their personal laundry and cleaning their own rooms where appropriate
- to ensure all cleaning materials are used as directed and kept securely and safely in compliance with COSHH regulations
- to work in conjunction with nursing and therapy staff teams in order to maintain a clean, safe and homely environment
- CARING FOR OUR CLIENTS: To always be respectful of a clients dignity and emotional state whilst carrying out designated tasks
- to handle and remove waste in line with segregation processes and procedures To be responsible for all client and facility laundry requirements
- FINANCE To use all resources responsibly being mindful of the implications of your decisions
- ROLE SUMMARY: To ensure that the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained in all areas of the STEPS facility, and carry out all laundry requirements, reflecting at all times STEPS values and behaviours, working as a key member of the inter-disciplinary team
