Responsibility

  • the Communities Programme Manager oversees the Farm’s engagement of local community groups and
  • a diversity of adult beneficiaries. Two key activities managed by the role are the Farm’s
  • twice-weekly therapeutic Greencare Volunteering sessions for adults with mixed abilities, and
  • overseeing our Community Growing Beds, which are allocated to other local charities and service
  • providers for therapeutic horticulture. The post holder is also responsive to ad hoc requests
  • for community group tours; one-off sessions and workshops; and organises occasional events to
  • bring different beneficiaries together with activities including cooking and sharing food
  • the Greencare Volunteering sessions take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and the Communities
