Responsibility

  • step Start Nurseries is situated in Heybridge, Essex
  • we are open from 7am - 7pm, 51 weeks per year, providing care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years
  • our nursery is homely, inviting, safe and stimulating allowing the children to develop in comfort to their full potential through play
  • as a room leader you will need to provide hands on leadership, whilst nurturing and supporting the needs and professional development of your team
  • you will be expected to work closely with managers and other nursery staff to create a positive and exciting environment, and to build close relationships with parents and carers to continue providing the fantastic care for our children and excellent ongoing support for all of our families
  • we ensure that we provide high standards of childcare and education, monitoring each child individually, and forming close parent partnerships, working closely with our families
