- to identify any workplace hazards and recommend control measures
- procure, store and issue PPE to employees
- maintain the financial administration of the office including raising purchase orders, reconciling invoices, monitoring expenditure against budget, follow up outstanding payments, and liaise with the finance team upholding accurate financial record keeping
- dealing with waste requirements on a daily basis
- act as first point of contact within the Facilities office during working hours to ensure phone calls are taken and queries are dealt with in a time effective manner
- partake in the delivery of training i.e. inductions if a need to do so
- to be flexible in working requirements, tasks and duties
- working closely with the maintenance operative to ensure that plant, machinery and tool requirements are met, as well as keeping an up-to-date facilities and compliance register
- booking in stock from other departments
- responsible for processing supplier PO’s and returns
