STARN GROUP is looking for employees for positions:

electrical technician

  • electrical technician

Responsibility

  • electrical assembly and testing of new hazardous area equipment products
  • maintenance and wiring of all products to applicable standards
  • electrical testing, fault finding and repair of hire fleet
  • detailed Inspections to EN IEC 60079 parts 14 and 17, so an understanding of and experience with this type of work would be advantageous

Requirements

  • experience in fault finding, repair, construction of electrical, instrument and control equipment
  • A formal electrical qualification is highly desirable
  • self-motivated and responsible team player with a high attention to detail and a focus on quality of work
  • experience working with hazardous area equipment, including maintenance, construction and assembly
  • proactive self-starter with flexibility to adapt to various tasks and challenges
  • experience with testing and maintenance of safety-critical systems and equipment
  • experience working with CompEx units Ex01-04 would be preferred but not essential as training can be given to the right candidate
  • electrical Engineering: 1 year
