Responsibility

  • ensuring that all freight is scanned
  • route planning, allocation of deliveries and arrangement of collections
  • communication with drivers and customers to establish delivery/collection times and advise of any likely delays
  • staff annual leave approval & sickness absence monitoring
  • sourcing and allocating agency staff as required to cover absences
  • data inputting, uploading POD’s and updating of comments using the networks freight management system
