Responsibility
- the role also involves reloading packaging waste back to the distribution centre
- daily vehicle checks, reporting any defects
- we have a range of permanent employment opportunities for nights working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern doing store deliveries which involves loading and tipping the trailer from the distribution centre to stores - on average 2-3 stores per day
- making on time deliveries to stores
- tipping using machinery
- reloading packaging waste back to the distribution centre
- ensuring that your vehicle is clean and fit for the next delivery
- start times 18:00 and 21:00
Requirements
- make on time deliveries to various nationwide depots and RDC's
- have knowledge of driver hours/regulations
- hold a valid DCPC and digicard
- work in a professional manner
- be prepared to undertake site inductions and training
- class 1 driving: 1 year
- have excellent geographical knowledge
- be able to follow company procedures and keep various people informed of progress or delays
